 Another 27 deaths from corona virus, 1,663 new cases reported

In the last 24 hours, 27 more deaths due to corona virus have been reported across Pakistan while 1,663 new cases have been reported. The total number of deaths from corona in Pakistan has reached 22,034 and the number of positive cases has reached 949,838.

 According to the National Command and Control Operations Center (NCOC), the rate of positive cases in the country during the last 24 hours was 1.69%. The number of active cases is 33,452 and 894,352 people have recovered from Corona.

 According to the NCOC, the highest number of deaths due to global pandemic is in Punjab where 10,659 people have lost their lives while 5,344 in Sindh, 4,274 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 775 in Islamabad, 108 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 301 in Balochistan. And 573 people have lost their lives in Azad Kashmir.
