ISLAMABAD - In the last 24 hours, 17 more deaths and 1,517 new cases of corona virus have been reported across the country.

According to the National Command and Control Operations Center (NCOC), the total number of

 deaths from corona in Pakistan has risen to 22,469 and the number of positive cases has risen to 966,007. 

The number of active cases is 34,013 and 9,099. 1,525 people have recovered from Corona.

According to the NCOC, the highest number of deaths due to corona is in Punjab where 10,791 people

have lost their lives while 5,536 in Sindh, 4,346 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 781 in Islamabad, 111 in

 Gilgit- Baltistan and Balochistan. 315 and 589 people have lost their lives in Azad Kashmir.
