Legendary actor Dilip Kumar was known as the Emperor of Emotions. He showed the essence of acting
in many films including Devdas and Sang Dil.
Dilip Kumar is also known as the Emperor of Emotions. Dilip Kumar's real name was Yusuf Khan. He
moved with his family to Mumbai (then Bombay) in 1935 for business. He made his film debut with
Jowar Bhata and then ruled the film industry for
nearly five decades.
Dilip Kumar was also awarded the Dada Sahib Phalke, the highest award in the Indian film industry.
The government of Pakistan also awarded Dilip Kumar the highest
civilian award in Pakistan.
Dilip Kumar was ill for a long time. He passed away this
morning at the age of 98.
