Spanish officials said on Wednesday that John David, the creator of the MacAfie Anti-Virus, a proponent of corrupt currency and a two-time participant in US politics, had died in a prison cell where he paid millions of dollars in taxes to the United States. They were imprisoned for not doing so and were to be extradited to the United States.

A forensic team in Catalonia, Spain, said:

A forensic team in Catalonia, Spain, said on Thursday that a forensic team would examine the effects of the poisoning on McAfee's body to determine the cause of his death. A spokeswoman said it could take days or weeks.

Officials say everything on the scene shows that the 75-year-old business world celebrity has committed suicide.

Maverick's Spanish lawyer, Javier Bejlba, said the businessman's death was a shock to his wife and relatives and that he would die as soon as his client died.

 McAfee first commercial anti-virus software:

McAfee wrote the first commercial anti-virus software under his own name in 1987. He then founded Make Off Associates, from which he retired in 1994 and sold the remaining shares of his company.

He did not want the software, which he called Bluetooth, to be named after him, but the anti-virus software was called after him.

McAfee assets ?

His assets had reached کروڑ 100 million, but then his financial problems began in 2007-2008.

He set up several companies but his interests were mostly in smartphone apps, cryptocurrency, yoga and drugs.

McAfee was born in Britain in 1945 but entered the computer world after coming to the United States. He then moved to Blaise and returned to the United States in 2013.

Here his interest in American politics grew. He tried to win the Liberal Party's nomination for the 2016 and 2020 US presidential elections, but failed.

McAfee was arrested ? 

McAfee was arrested in October 2020 in Spain. He was charged with failing to pay his taxes in the United States for four years, which carries a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison. 

McAfee applied for bail ?

He applied for bail which was not granted. Now, on Monday, a Spanish judge decided to extradite him to the United States. McAfee received the report in prison. But on Wednesday, Spanish authorities announced his death and called it a suicide.

McAfee wrote in an article in the American magazine Mensa:

In 2012, McAfee wrote in an article in the American magazine Mensa that he had become a popular target for hackers as the creator of the first commercial anti-computer virus program. They change their IP address several times a day. Tell your friends to buy a computer.

Once asked if he himself uses make-up anti-virus software, he replied, "I'll turn it off. It's very annoying software."
