Jeff Bezos Will Go Into Space With The 82-Year-Old Astronaut:

According to the Associated Press (AP), Funk took astronomy
tests in the early days of the US space program but was not sent into space
because she was a woman.
On Thursday, Bezos company Blue Origin announced that the
company's first rocket will be launched from West Texas on July 20. In addition
to Jeff Bezos and his brother, Funk will be the third person to win the 22.8
million auction.
At the age of 82, Funk will be an elderly person going into space. Funk was part of Mercury 13, a program launched by NASA in the 1960s. In this program, women were trained to go into space but they were not taken into space.
